Dr. Ing Unarski, Jan
Jan get his engineering and doctor degree from automotive area at Technological University in Kraków. He works as a head of Road Accident Analysis Department in Institute of Forensic Research over 35 years. From 25 years he is a member of EVU and has organized two EVU Congresses and many country scientific conferences. Last ten years he spent as head of scientific committee of EVU events. He is an author of two hundreds papers and specialized in drivers visibility and behaviours.
Prof. Dr. Ing. Lugner, Peter
Peter is Prof. emeritus at the TU Vienna. His special area of research was/is vehicle dynamics especially for cars. He had a large number of cooperation’s with the industry, so e.g. 3years as employee of Daimler Benz research department. Till 2015 he was member of the board of the IAVSD (International Association of Vehicle System Dynamics) and for more than 15 years editor in chief of the VSD- journal. Recently he organized the CISM course on “Vehicle Dynamics in Modern Passenger Cars”.
Dipl. Phis., M. Eng. Windisch, Martin
Martin holds degrees in Experimental High Energy Physics by the Technic University of Dortmund (Germany) and in Traffic Accident Research by the Technic University of Graz (Austria). Since 2004 he works as accident reconstructionist at the private institute for accident reconstruction in Hamburg (IFU), Germany, exclusively for the courts. He has published some scientific papers on accident-related issues, e. g. Analysing the moving speeds of 2 to 3-year-old-children and Investigation of tactile perceptibility of small collisions between passenger cars, transporters and trucks. Since 2016 Martin is member of the partnership of the IFU Hamburg and of the EVU scientific board.
Dr. Ing. Weyde, Michael
Michael Weyde first studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and completed his engineering studies in the field of general mechanical engineering with the title of Diplom-Ingenieur at the TFH Berlin in 1995. After working for a renowned engineering company for accident reconstruction, where he was responsible for equipping the Berlin police vehicle fleet with Accident Data Recorders, Michael Weyde opened his own engineering office in 1997. Since 2004, he is officially appointed and sworn in by the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry as an Expert for accident reconstruction and the evaluation of accident data recorders. Between 2004 until 2009 Michael Weyde did his PhD Studies at the university of Zilina and wrote his PhD- thesis about connecting factors for the reconstruction of high speed impacts of motorcycles. Since 2015, he has also been appointed and sworn in the field of “Damage- and Monetary-Evaluations of motor vehicles”. In the last 20 years, Dr. Weyde supervised various diploma theses. Thereby he invented a biofidelic Dummy as a surrogate for vulnerable road users in crash tests. He is a lecturer at the HTW Dresden, where he teaches “Numerical Accident Reconstruction” in the Department of Automotive Engineering.
M. Eng. Ferrer, Adrià
Adrià holds an Automotive Engineering degree by The Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and works since 2011 at Applus+ IDIADA. He currently is a Project Manager at the Innovation department and is dedicated to integrated safety and autonomous driving research and innovation projects. He joined the innovation department after working at the Passive Safety department for 3 years. During this time, he has been involved in several FP7 projects related to child safety, accident investigation, road safety analysis and pedestrian protection.
